FUNDINGSOFTEX maintains an updated list of sources for capital and financing. It provides all the guidance required for enterprises with activities in software and IT services to identify the most suitable sources in accordance with their size and needs.
One of the highlights among financing options is the Program for the Development of the National Industry of Software and Information Technology Services (PROSOFT) from the Brazilian Economic and Social Development Bank (BNDES). SOFTEX contributes for the constant improvement of PROSOFT, and is the only partner authorized to perform a pre-assessment of the business plans submitted to the program. It plays a significant role by helping enterprises develop their plans and submit them to BNDES. In 2010 alone SOFTEX has pre-assessed operations that together accounted for more than R$ 350 million (around US$ 218 million). PROSOFT along its years of operation has approved operations that are expected to exceed R$ 5 billion by 2012. SOFTEX is also a member of ABVCAP - Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
